Has anyone tried using bioband ( bracelet for motion sickness),is it really potent?
Kobe is correct. Ginger not only prevents motion sickness, but nausea & vomitting, as all right. Take 2 capsules nearly an hour before flying or anything your acticity is.
I tried it while working on a boat one summer, and I didn't think it worked that powerfully. I thought the dramamine pills worked much better.
The bracelet was tested beforehand but the effects were not that conspicuous. Ginger pills were found to be better.
Yes they are efficient. They work on the concept of Acupressure. There are plastic nibs sewn inside of each tie that apply pressure to meridian points either surrounded by the wrist or in the leg above the ankle depending on where on earth you choose to wear it.
My wife got motion sick during a storm at the deep while on our honeymoon. I have practiced Acupressure for masses years... saw the bands and picked up a twosome for her. She had a great time.
One entry to note. If you wear them and filch them off you will own to re-acclimate to them when you put them on again. It usually takes more or less 30 minutes to re-acclimate.
They work a little but not without fault, and the skin under the band gets itchy and afterwards you end up near band grades around your wrists. I found that putting a hairtie on my wrist worked just as capably, and didn't cause any of the other problems. I ponder it's a mind thing, at tiniest for me it seemed to be...
